Aussie bonds are steeper on the day, in sympathy with U.S. Tsys, with participants looking through lower tier local data to next week's domestic risk events, notably the potential for fiscal easing via the Budget. YM -3.0, XM -5.5, legging lower in recent trade.

  • Bills 1-2 ticks lower through the reds.
  • An atypical A$500mn tap of ACGB 3.25% 21 June 2039 is slated for tomorrow, with Australian retail sales data also on the docket.
