US TSYS
US TSYS: T-Note futures drew a modest bid from a heavy session for Chinese
stocks, stemming from the latest round of U.S- China trade rhetoric, although
the contract has stuck to a tight range with the cash space closed until the
London open.
- The Eurodollar strip trades virtually unchanged, although it has been a fairly
active start to the week for the strip volume wise (and Tsy futures), in spite
of the limited price action and cash market closure.
- There was some reported demand for U.S. Tsys vs. their Aussie equivalents.
- Flash PMI data, due Friday, provides the highlight of the U.S. docket this
week. As a reminder the Fed has entered the blackout period ahead of next week's
FOMC MonPol decision.
- T-Notes last 119.07+, U.S. 10-Year cash Tsy yields closed at 2.996% on Friday.
