US TSYS
US TSYS: T-Notes +0-05 at writing, printing at 129-10 on news of a rocket attack
on Ain Al Assad airbase in Anbar, Iraq, which houses hosing U.S. coalition
forces.
- Late Tuesday saw choppy price action after headlines pointed to an attack
on/near Taji base in Iraq, which houses U.S. troops, but faded as it seemed that
the alarms coming from the base represented a test, as opposed to an attack.
- T-Notes went out close to lows as a result, with the curve twist steepening on
the day.
- The latest 3-Year auction saw a 0.3bp tail, in line with recent avg. cover
ratio (a touch softer than prev.) and an uptick in dealer participation.
- Eurodollar futures +0.5 to 2.0 ticks through the reds.
