T-Notes slipped over the last hour or so and last sit -0-05+ at 136-25, through Thursday's low and support from Nov 11 low of 136-26+. Selling pressure hit the contract after U.S. Pres Trump declared that he will work towards a peaceful transition. News flow covered the latest comments re: proposals to remove U.S. Pres Trump from office as the dust has settled after the siege of the Capitol. Cash Tsy curve has bear steepened and last sit 0.2-1.9bp higher. Eurodollar futures trade +0.5 to -2.0 ticks through the reds.

  • JGB futures have wavered and last trade at 151.78, 2 ticks shy of last settlement. Cash JGB yields trade mixed across the curve ahead of an auction for 30-Year JGBs. In local data, Japanese household spending rose 1.1% Y/Y in Nov vs. exp. of a 1.0% decline.
