US TSYS: T-Notes hold within their tight Memorial Day range at the Asia re-open
after a very limited, holiday shortened session for the contract on Monday, last
+0-02+ at 139-07+.
- The space was reluctant to react to the dialling up of Sino-U.S. tension over
the weekend, with the combination of a broad uptick in global equity markets and
lower liquidity backdrop helping to keep futures in check, with the equity bid
picking up steam during European trade. On the equity front., focus fell on some
stock specific matters in Europe, as well as the continued gradual rollback of
COVID-19 restrictions across most of the globe.
- Conference board confidence metrics, regional Fed activity prints, house price
indices and new home sales data are all due Tuesday. Elsewhere, we will hear
from Fed's Kashkari and see the latest round of 2-Year supply.
