- JGB futures edged higher post-lunch as the Nikkei 225 ebbed off of highs, but
still sit 3 ticks shy of settlement levels, last at 152.90. Cash yields are
trading 0.1bp lower to 0.6bp higher across the curve. Worth noting the BoJ left
all sizes of today's 1-5 & 5-25+ Rinban ops unchanged vs. the prev. operations.
Also today, Japan sold Y4.4883tn of its 3-Month Bills, attracting the cover
ratio of 3.186x.
- Aussie bonds jumped only to ease off of highs after the RBA's semi-annual
Financial Stability Review pointed to the resilience of Australian financial
system, albeit noting "greater downside risks." Cash yields last seen 1.4-2.6bp
higher across the curve. YM last deals 1.0 tick lower at 98.590, with XM sitting
3.0 ticks lower at 98.105, while YM/XM last seen a touch higher at 48.00. Bills
are trading unch. to 2 ticks higher through the reds.
- Bunds trade -0.04 at 165.54, Bobls -0.01 at 132.99, Schatz unch. at 111.920.
