US TSYS
US TSYS: T-Notes last unch. at 139-11+, holding a tight range at the start of
the week, despite the previously outlined headline flow.
- Locally, outside of the COVID-19 front, fiscal matters are back at the fore,
with a focus on the tussle across the aisle in DC (surrounding familiar matters)
front and centre as we grind towards the expiration of the current wage support
measures, and also Congress' summer recess.
- As a reminder, Friday saw the curve bear steepen at the margins, with the
equity space bid into the weekend. Tsys were subjected to light volumes and
lacked any real catalyst in the final session of last week. Also worth noting
that the Fed entered its pre-meeting blackout over the weekend.
- Eurodollar futures unchanged to -1.0 through the reds.
- Focus falls on headlines surrounding EU fiscal matters during Asia-Pac hours.
