Technical Trend In Futures Remains Bullish, Contract Off Lows As Source Details Digested

JGBS

JGB futures printed below yesterday’s overnight session low on the initial hawkish BoJ source report headlines.

  • The sell off was then limited by the details not being as hawkish as the headlines and suggestions that recent JGB purchase rates would be maintained.
  • Contract last -14 at 146.11 off lows of 145.94.
  • Overarching technical trend signals in the contract remain bullish and initial support at the Feb 14 low (145.75) is untouched.
