EQUITIES: TECHS: Is this week's upside momentum displaying signs of fatigue?:
- Estoxx 50 futures (VGM0) stalled yesterday ahead of 2866.00, Apr 30 low. A
print would have filled a gap on the chart. Price is off today's 2858.00 high.
- DAX futures (GXM0) traded to a 10776.00 high today and filled a gap on the
chart with a print above 10756.00, Apr 30 low. Futures are off the earlier high.
- S&P futures (ESM0) are trading below yesterday's 2889.75 high. Today's price
action has so far failed to display the trend like character we saw over the
past two sessions. 60-min data highlights an important intraday support at
2843.50, today's low. A break would undermine a bullish case.
- The above observations point to a lack of strong or impulsive bullish
momentum. Attention remains on key supports and whether they will hold.
- The key support levels to watch are:
- ESM0: 2717.25, Apr 21 low.
- VGM0: 2745.00, Apr 16 low.
- GXM0:10165.00, Apr 16 low.
