AUSSIE
AUSSIE: The Antipodean opened in Asia at $0.7937 toward the lower side of
yesterday's $0.7926 to $0.7974 range, where risk-aversion was the theme amid
concerns that tension between North Korea and the US may escalate, keeping the
Aussie on the back foot against the greenback. ANZ/Roy Morgan (2330GMT) weekly
consumer confidence provides a modest event risk, however, direction will be
garnered from regional equities and their reaction to the latest rhetoric from
N. Korea. Support is located at $0.7927 (76.4% fib $0.7908-$0.7986), a break
opens $0.7908 (Sep22 low), while hourly resistance is seen around $0.7960.
Aussie was last at $0.7936.
