DOLLAR: The DXY topped out at 95.93 in early NY, before witnessing a minor
pullback to the 95.75 area. Topside focus remains on the 100-dma & Jan 8 high at
96.02, above here opens the 21-dma & 50% fibo of 97.69-95.02 at 96.25/36. Gold
catches a fresh bid tone to flirt with $1293, targeting a break of the Jan 4
high at $1298.60, ahead of the $1300 pivot level. While the US 10y touches fresh
lows of 2.6773%, near-term support at 2.6435% from the 50% fibo of
2.5412-2.7458.
