KIWI: The flightless bird opened in Asia at $0.7224 toward the lower side of
yesterday's $0.7198 to $0.7383 range, where the reduction of NZ's growth and
budget surplus forecasts by the government and political infighting kept the
kiwi on the defensive. NZ Trade Balance(2245GMT) is the main focus for
investors, MNI's median is for a small deficit of N$200 million. Key-support is
located at $0.7188, which marks the 50% retracement on the $0.6818 to $0.7558
ascent, a break opens $0.7101 (61.8% on the same move), while hourly resistance
is noted in the mid-$0.7250's.
