EQUITIES
EQUITIES: The Nikkei 225 and ASX 200 equity indices build on yesterday's gains
in early cash trade, reacting to the bid in European bourses and e-minis in the
time since their respective closing bells rang on Monday, although e-minis are
back from best levels, but still comfortably higher since Friday's settlement.
- For e-minis, it is worth noting that the S&P 500 contract broke through its
recent resistance zone in holiday thinned trade on Monday, which switches focus
to the 200-DMA at 2,998.13 (on a continuation chart), just ahead of the
psychological 3,000 level.
