GOLD
GOLD: The precious metal traded higher in Asia as it was supported by a weaker
dollar. However, as European markets opened the dollar strengthened as there
were positive reports from the US that Republican lawmakers in the senate plan
to hold a floor vote on the tax bill as soon as Nov30. Bullion has pared back
some of the early morning European losses and is trading around $1290.85
