EURO-DOLLAR: The single currency opened in Asia at $1.1739 toward the upper side
of Friday's $1.1671 to $1.1764 range, where disappointing US data put the
greenback on the defensive. There is no data or scheduled events in Asia likely
to impact trading, local traders expect sideways consolidation ahead of the
European open and the release of German retail Sales and Eurozone CPI. 
Resistance is located at $1.1777 (Ytd high Jul27), bulls will be looking for a
close above $1.1789 (200-wma) to signal a move to $1.2000, while support is
located at $1.1705-15 (hourly lows from Friday). Euro was last at $1.1751 and
the range so far this morning has been $1.1737 to $1.1757.
