EGB SUMMARY
EGB SUMMARY: There have been some decent volumes in EGBs (although less than the
past couple of days) but moves have been rather subdued outside of BTPs.
- After a shallow rally at the beginning of the day, Bunds gave up their gains
and were largely unchanged going into the US employment report. Bunds sold off
over the ensuing half hour but have again regained ground and once again stand
little changed on the day.
- With most peripheral spreads only a little tighter on the day, BTPs have been
the exception to the rule and have rallied but with no real headlines driving
the move.
- Bund futures are up 0.10 today at 171.24 with 10y Bund yields down -0.9bp at
-0.191% and Schatz yields down -0.1bp at -0.601%.
- BTP futures are up 0.50 today at 143.45 with 10y yields down -5.3bp at 1.323%
and 2y yields down -1.6bp at -0.71%.
- OAT futures are up 0.18 today at 163.90 with 10y yields down -1.5bp at 0.048%
and 2y yields up 0.2bp at -0.579%.
