Tight Balances Support Singapore Gasoline: Kpler

The Singapore 95 RON gasoline crack spread has been outperforming all the other global benchmarks amid tight balances and the rest of Q1 remains constructive according to Kpler.

  • Seasonal demand should stay strong with imports from the major gasoline importing countries in Southeast Asia remaining elevated, especially amid scheduled refinery maintenance work in Vietnam and Malaysia.
  • Exports from key suppliers to the region to remain constrained in the short-term. China is the second largest gasoline supplier to Asia-Pacific after Sout Korea and is expecting a demand increase during the Chinese Lunar New Year holidays, followed by a milder seasonal rise.
