Trade Balance Moves to Surplus in February

SOUTH AFRICA
  • South Africa's trade balance moved to a surplus of ZAR 14.04bln in February (Est: +ZAR 9.0bln) from a revised deficit of ZAR 9.688bln in January, according to the South African Revenue Service.
  • Meanwhile, the budget surplus was ZAR 20.784bln in February, compared to estimates of a ZAR 7.5bln deficit.
