Core have traded within the morning ranges as investors took a step back, following a busy week, and ahead of another busy one, which includes plenty of data, the last round of official Brexit talks and the US NFP.

  • Bund have stayed underpinned, on safe haven going into the weekend.
  • Peripheral are trailing somewhat behind, pushing the 10yr spreads wider, with Greece worst performer, albeit only 2.6bps wider against Germany
  • Looking ahead, we still have a couple of Fed speakers, including George and Williams, but little is expected, since they have already spoken this week.
  • As mentioned, all eyes will be on the risk events and data next week.
  • Bund futures are up 0.13 today at 174.57
  • Schatz yields down -0.7bp today at -0.710%
  • BTP futures down -0.03 at 147.60
  • OAT futures up 0.17 at 168.66.
