US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasuries are flat as we head into the Unemployment Report at
0830ET, with volumes thinning out after a busy few days on the geopolitical
front (241k TY contracts traded as of 0640ET).
- Gains post- 30-Yr auction Thursday have been held; Tsys tracked EGBs higher
going into the London session but not much in the way of obvious catalysts.
- Mar 10-Yr futures (TY) up 0.5/32 at 128-29 (L: 128-24.5 / H: 128-30.5).
- The 2-Yr yield is up 0.2bps at 1.5803%, 5-Yr is up 0.2bps at 1.6545%, 10-Yr is
down 0.3bps at 1.8511%, and 30-Yr is down 1bps at 2.3196%.
- Dec payrolls seen +160k (MNI sell-side median), coming off Nov's ten-month
high of 266k as factory jobs weaken.
- Nov wholesale sales/inventories at 1000ET.
- No Fed speakers today; Thursday`s comments by the likes of Williams, Clarida
et al failed to move the needle.
