Treasuries are higher, with trade...>

US TSYS SUMMARY
US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasuries are higher, with trade headlines still in focus.
- Tsys' steady climb since Weds afternoon after WSJ report of US-China trade
deal 'snag' on ag buys (though downplayed by White House's Navarro) stalled at
0500ET on headlines that China had removed restrictions on US poultry imports.
- However this had been reported in late October so old news really, and the
initial jump in risk-off has since faded.
- Dec 10-Yr futs (TY) off highs, up 5.5/32 at 129-02 (L: 128-22 / H: 129-05.5).
- Curve flatter: 2-Yr yield is down 1.8bps at 1.6179%, 5-Yr is down 3.6bps at
1.6548%, 10-Yr is down 4.3bps at 1.8428%, and 30-Yr is down 4.4bps at 2.3206%.
- No fewer than 7 Fed speakers to come (VC Quarles earlier had nothing on
current monpol in a pre-recorded appearance for an insurance conference).
- They are: Clarida (0900ET), Evans (0910ET), Powell (1000ET, repeating Weds'
testimony), Daly (1145ET), Williams (1200ET), Bullard (1220ET), Kaplan (1300ET).
- Data includes Oct PPI and weekly jobless claims (0830ET).
- Still awaiting news on USTR's report to White House on EU auto tariffs, which
were reportedly due yesterday.
