US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasuries are under renewed pressure, despite an apparent
setback in US/China trade relations an weaker equities, and ahead of the FOMC
decision Wednesday.
- The Dec 18 T-Note future is down 3.5/32 at 118-18, having traded in a range of
118-17 to 118-23 so far Monday.
- The cash curve is a little steeper: 2-Yr yield up 1.3bps at 2.8128%, 5-Yr up
1.4bps at 2.9623%, 10-Yr up 1.7bps at 3.0796%, and 30-Yr up 1.7bps at 3.2166%.
- Equity futures are a little lower (S&P 500 mini down 5.25 pts at 2928.50), and
the dollar is off slightly, with the DXY down 0.1% at 94.11.
- ED futures are weaker, with contracts down 1-1.5 ticks across the strip.
- Sep Dallas Fed manufacturing at 1030EST is the only real piece of data in the
US Monday (August reading was 30.9) with markets focused on FOMC Tues/Weds.
