US TSYS: Treasuries chopping lower this morning amid NY Fed Dudley saying "no
reason" that US expansion has to end of old age, plus Dudley said Fed went into
2017 expecting to do 3 rate hikes and is on "path" for that to happen, said
Bloomberg; and Dallas Fed Kaplan said he did not intend to raise Fed Funds rate
so it was "nudging up against the 10-year Treasury rate", which is now at
2.347%.
- Tsys also saw cross-flows in the market amid brisk high-grade corporate
issuance, which steepened the 2/10Y, 2/30Y and 5/30Y curves said some traders.
Tsys saw 5Y, 7Y cash notes being sold earlier, and then the 30Y bond got hurt
too by selling, with some talk of real money selling around too.
