US TSYS: Treasuries remain firm amid the intensifying selloff across EM FX, with
the 10-year close to its daily highs at 120-13+, having broken through triangle
resistance on Friday. The 2-year is also stronger, trading at 105-28 and pushing
above its 55-DMA.
- The 2s-10s spread trades a tough lower at 26.0bps. The 30-year has been the
underperformer today with the 10s-30s curve steepening 0.5bps to 16.1bps, not
joining in with the flattening seen in the rest of the curve.
- The eurodollar strip is also stronger with the September contract within
touching distance of its May 30 high, currently at 97.63.
- Breakevens continue their recent decline, with the 10-year tenor trading at
2.094 and looking very toppy.
- 10-year yield last at 2.8497%.
