US TSYS: Treasuries saw some dip buying in early NY action; cash 10-year note is
at 2.387%.
- FTN Financial's Jim Vogel said that "based on the reaction of US stocks this
morning, with improvement in futures of 0.5%-1.0%, investors remain confident a
conference committee will find ways to smooth over differences between the two
versions of the tax bill without running into obstacles of Congressional rules
on budget reconciliation."
- He adds there is "no sign of concern about other Washington developments in
the coming months."
