US TSYS/30Y: Treasuries still marching higher to new session high prices, 10Y
yield is at 2.220%. This is causing a bit of worry among some traders who
believe the 1pm ET $15B 30-year auction could fare better if it had a major
price concession between now and auction time. However the market still seems to
have the safe-haven bid fever buying amid lingering N.Korea risk, said traders.
Meanwhile, the Tsys see 2/10Y, 2/30Y and 2/5Y curve flatteners done.
- Traders also near-term will be watching carefully for the Q/A from NY Fed
Dudley speaking at a regional wage inequality event, see his 10am ET opening
headlines.
