US TSYS SUMMARY
US TSYS SUMMARY: Treasury futures continue to decline from best levels seen
midweek, with a decent data and Fed speaker schedule up Friday.
- The Jun 19 T-Note future is down 7.5/32 at 124-85, having traded in a range of
124-75 to 124-145.
- Short end of the curve underperforming: 2-Yr yield up 2bps at 2.256%, 5-Yr up
1.4bps at 2.228%, 10-Yr up 1.4bps at 2.4086%, and 30-Yr up 0.4bps at 2.8264%.
- Little in way of news flow to drive Tsys lower, but tone has been decidedly
risk-on, with Asian and European equities up and U.S. futures edging higher (S&P
E-mini up 0.1%).
- Positive trade headlines (BBG reported U.S. and Chinese negotiators are
working line-by-line on a deal text) probably helping risk-on atmosphere.
- Curves trading mixed, 3M10Y +0.931 at -1.844; 2Y10Y -0.813 at 14.854; 5Y30Y
-0.894 at 59.755.
- MNI Chicago PMI, Personal Income/Spending, and New Home Sales coming up later.
