Tsys Futures Pare Gains, Curve Flattening

  • Treasury futures have continued to drift lower this morning following the FOMC minutes overnight, while risk markets are ticking higher with Asian tech stocks leading the way. TYU4 - 06+ at 113-22, while TUU4 is trading - 01¾ at 103-10⅝ both contracts trading at session lows.
  • TYU4 has now erased all gains made post the BLS numbers
  • Cash treasury curves are slightly flatter this morning with yields 0.5-1.5bps higher, the 2yr yield is +1.4bps to 3.945%, while the 10yr yield is -1.4bps at 3.809% after hitting a new yearly lows of 3.7595% overnight.
