TTF gas closely watching Russian supply

NATGAS

TTF gas down 0.4% to 96.5€/MWh but European gas markets remain concerned about Russian supply with reduced flows coming via Ukraine and with payments due later this month.

  • The EU plans to offer a way for energy firms to pay for Russian gas without breaching the sanctions therefore reducing the risk of a cut to Russian supplies.
  • Russian gas transit via Ukraine down to 46.8mcm/d with flows via Sokhranivka still zero and reduced flows via Sudzha down from 64.6mcm/d yesterday. Nord Stream supply remains uninterrupted and steady with nominations today at 73.4GWh/h.
  • Gas flows from Norway are similar to last week and nominated at 313.6mcm/d. LNG supply remains healthy and warm weather is expected for NW Europe until the weekend.
