TTF Higher due to Ongoing Russian Supply Risks

TTF is higher today after a slight dip at the end of last week. The risk of continued and further supply disruption from Russia continues while the EU seeks to reduce consumption ahead of the winter.

  • TTF SEP 22 up 2.6% at 206€/MWh
  • Flows through Nord Stream are again nominated at 31.8mcm/d for today with supply transit through Ukraine at 41.6mcm/d.
  • Supply from Norway is steady at 333mcm/d while the weekly average of LNG imports into Europe was up at 175mcm/d.
  • European storage levels are now up to 69.3% full. Injections have been keeping pace just ahead of seasonal normal amounts with the overall stock levels now only just below the 5-year average of 69.7% full for this time of year.
