TTF Holding Onto Gains From Yesterday

NATURAL GAS

TTF is near the previous close following a small recovery higher yesterday but is still well below the highs from earlier this month.

    • TTF MAY 23 up 0.4% at 43.86€/MWh
    • TTF WIN 23 up 0.3% at 57€/MWh
    • TTF SUM 24 up 0.6% at 55.03€/MWh
  • Above average temperatures are forecast to return to northern and western Europe over the weekend after slightly below normal this week while wind generation is forecast to increase into next week.
  • European LNG net import flows remain strong despite a move down from highs of 456mcm/d on 5 April with sendout still just above 400mcm/d on 10 Apr.
  • European gas in storage is today just slightly higher at 55.83% according to GIE data from 10 Apr compared to the five year average of 35.4%.
  • Norwegian imports are nominated down to 317.5mcm/d with planned maintenance outages at Aasta Hansteen and Nyhamna today.
  • Gas transit flows through Ukraine are today nominated back up to 41.7mcm/d and Algeria gas flow to Italy at Mazara are at 76.1mcm/d.
