TTF Holds Losses On Lower Demand

TTF front month has recovered from an intra-day low this morning amid some outage extensions in Norway but continues to trade lower on the day as forecasts for cooler weather next week limit expectations for cooling demand.

  • The TTF front-month contract has recovered from a daily low of €36.17/MWh.
  • The annual maintenance at 22.5mcm/d Oseberg has been extended until 1 July, from 27 June previous scheduled. The Sleipner gas field will produce with limited capacity on 21-22 June in an unplanned outage, Gassco remit data showed.
  • Latest weather forecasts on Wednesday suggest temperatures across northwest Europe to turn cooler near normal next week.
  • TTF JUL 23 down -2.7% at 37.66€/MWh
  • TTF WIN 23 down -0.5% at 53.4€/MWh
