TTF Reverse Direction Amid Volatile Trading

TTF reverses the initial gains from this morning as volatile trading continues with high storage and low demand offsetting low Norwegian imports and LNG supply risks.

  • Front month TTF has pulled back to the lows seen on Friday of 34.36€/MWh having opened at 37.15€/MWh this morning.
  • Front month 30 day historical volatility is holding up near the highest since April 2022 at 142% today.
  • Time spreads remain strong with Q1 2024 - Oct23 up at 18€/MWh and Win24-Win23 unchanged from Friday at nearly 6.4€/MWh.
    • TTF OCT 23 down -3.6% at 34.35€/MWh
    • TTF WIN 23 down -0.9% at 48.06€/MWh
    • TTF SUM 24 down -0.6% at 50.87€/MWh
    • TTF WIN 24 down -1.2% at 54.27€/MWh
