TTF steady ahead of Russian gas payments

European gas prices are relatively unchanged with steady Russian flows, high LNG imports, higher Norwegian supply and more warm weather.

  • Companies are hopeful that upcoming payments for Russian gas will be completed and be compliant with EU sanctions and Russian demands.
  • Russian gas transit via Ukraine is higher today at 63.3mcm with flows continuing to come via Sudzha. Imports via Nord Stream remain consistent with nominations for 73.375GWH/h.
  • Norwegian supply is 14mcm higher today at 324mcm while record LNG imports continue with at least 10 more cargoes expected to arrive into Europe before the end of the month.
  • NW Europe is expecting above normal temperatures to continue until the end of the month.
