TTF Turns Downwards as Germany More Positive on Supply

TTF front month back negative on the day as the market considers the risks to supply.

  • France and Germany have both said they are more prepared for a halt to Russia supplies. Nord Stream has today started a three day maintenance outage while Gazprom have halted flows to Engie over a payment disagreement.
  • "We can take gas from the storage in the winter, we are saving gas (and need to keep doing so!), the LNG terminals are coming, and thanks to Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway (and soon France), gas is flowing," Klaus Mueller, president of the German network regulator said on Twitter
    • TTF OCT 22 down -0.9% at 263€/MWh
    • TTF WIN 22 down -0.6% at 263.64€/MWh
    • TTF SUM 23 up 0.1% at 220€/MWh
