Tuapse Products Exports to Slide 59% MoM in February

Russian oil product exports from the Black Sea port of Tuapse are set to fall by 59.1% month on month in February to 0.416mn tons, traders told Reuters.

  • This is down from 1.086mn tons scheduled for January.
  • Rosneft’s Tuapse refinery was damaged by a drone strike on 25 January and is expected to remain shut through at least February according to Bloomberg reports. Other sources say the work may take even longer after preliminary assessments.
  • The refinery is a major producer of diesel and fuel oil which it exports via a nearby Black Sea terminal.
