Tuesday Look Ahead, Fed Chair Nomination Hearing

OUTLOOK

Another quiet session for economic data. Fed Chair nomination testimony main focus, opening comments expected to be released late today. With Fed blackout starting late Friday.

Markets eager for any information on policy (short end rates pricing in near 100% chance of liftoff in March), balance sheet runoff, quantitative easing/tightening, measures to address drag from Omicron, and possibly climate risk and internal trading curbs for Fed officials.
