Turkish Bonds End Firmer W/W Post-CBRT, 5Y CDS Falls 11.69bp

  • Local & USD rates seen unchanged so far this morning, having closed Friday's session mostly mixed.
  • Local rates diverged their USD counterparts, ending bear flatter with 2-3Y yields +5-7bp higher while the remainder of the curve drifted slightly lower.
  • USD bonds, however, ended firmer across the breadth with -6.8-7.7bp in gains distributed evenly across the curve.
  • W/w Local bonds retraced early weakness to end the week broadly firmer with a bull flattening bias post-CBRT: 9-10Y tenors -30-33bp on week.
  • USD bonds also ended -13-18bp lower across the breadth of the curve w/w, while Turkey's 5Y CDS fell 11.69bp.
