Turkish Bonds Firm W/W, Local 10Y Leads the Way

  • Local & USD rates Unch this morning, having traded mixed in yesterday's session due to local markets being closed due to a public holiday to commemorate the 2016 Coup attempt.
  • Local bonds were unchanged on the day, while USD bonds remained open and firm across the curve – bull flattening -8.2-11.5bp in 10-15Y yields.
  • W/w the local curve trades bull flatter, with 10Y yields leading the way lower (-27bp).
  • USD yields shifted lower across the curve, but most notably in 6-10Y yields with the 10Y -19bp for the week.
  • Turkey's 5Y CDS trades -6.19bp lower w/w around 383.74 with 380 support below after peaking a fraction below 395 last week.
