STOCKS: U.S. equity index futures moved sharply lower after Wall St. closed on
Thursday, following the release of Amazon & Alphabet's latest earnings reports.
- Asia stocks still managed to start positively following Wall St.'s rally in
cash trade, before USD/CNH & USD/CNY broke through yesterday's highs, applying
broad pressure to risk sentiment, weighing on local indices.
- The Nikkei trades 1.2% lower, the CSI 300 has shed -1.1%, while the Hang Seng
has fallen by -1.4 and the ASX 200 has lost -0.6%.
- U.S. index futures also trade sharply lower.
