U.S. Tsys Help Futures To Twist Flatten Overnight

Aussie Bond futures twist flattened during overnight trade, on the back of the post-FOMC dynamic in U.S. Tsys, leaving YM -1.0 & XM +1.0 come the close.

  • Thursday's local focus will move to the latest round of scheduled ACGB purchases from the RBA. In terms of the remainder of the docket, a reminder that Australia's PMI readings do not typically move the market, with the same holding true for the weekly payrolls data from the ABS.
  • We will continue to see local COVID-related headlines & geopolitical commentary surrounding the recent submarine deal/Australia-U.S.-UK pact, although these matters have had no real impact on the space in recent sessions.
