UK Exit Poll Sees Labour Landslide

According to the Ipsos exit poll released at the top of the hour, the UK is set to elect a Labour government for the first time since 1997. Below we highlight some of the notable projections from the exit poll:


Party Results

  • Sir Keir Starmer’s centre-left Labour are projected to win 410 seats, a massive 208 seat increase on the total won in 2019. The 170-seat majority projected for Labour is the largest since Tony Blair won a 179-seat majority in the 1997 landslide. Labour’s projected 410 seats is also just short of the 418 seats won by Blair's Labour in 1997.
