UK, Poland Agree £4bln Air Defence Deal

The UK and Poland defense industries have signed a deal worth over £4bln to continue the next phase of Poland’s future air defense program, Narew, according to a government statement which was cited by Bloomberg.

  • UK’s MBDA has signed the sub-contract with Poland’s PGZ which will create more than 1,000 Common Anti-Air Modular Missiles and over 100 iLaunchers for Polish forces.
  • The UK will support Poland to manufacture its own complex missiles on home soil in years to come, the statement read.
