UK's NGT Maintains 8% Reduction in LDZ Demand Forecast

NATURAL GAS

The UK's National Gas Transmission maintains the forecasts for an 8% reduction in LDZ demand is set to continue from last winter due to high energy prices.

  • High levels of LNG supply are expected to continue to enabling exports to Europe at times of low demand in Britain.
  • National Grid said it expects to have sufficient available capacity to meet demand for electricity this winter. They plan to keep exploring additional availability amid continued risks following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
