Uncontracted LNG Increasing from 65mtpa in 2023 to 90mtpa in 2030

In 2023 65mtpa of LNG sold by producers to portfolios is estimated to be uncontracted to end users with the volume expanding to 90mtpa in 2030 according to GIIGNL data.

  • LNG sold by producers to portfolios accounts for 30% of all LNG contracts and currently only 55% of this volume has been contracted suggesting the volume would be available on the spot market.
