Unions Expect Imminent Wage Rises

AUSTRALIA

ACTU secretary McManus is predicting that employers will begin negotiating expired enterprise agreements as soon as industrial relations legislation passes to avoid multi-employer bargaining. She also said that she didn’t expect a “huge rise in industrial action” as there isn’t evidence of this in other places with multi-employer bargaining. But she does “think that there'll be a rise in pay rises though." (The Australian)
