Russian Urals discounts have shrunk significantly from high’s of around $36/bbl according to an official from Indian refinery Bharat Petroleum Corp speaking with Reuters.

  • The Urals discount being offered has fallen to the “teens” according to Amit Bilolikar, deputy general manager for crude trading.
  • "But one thing is very clear. We do all the due diligence and we follow all the international laws. If there are no sanctions on trade of Russian oil, we'll definitely continue purchasing," he said.
