US Could Ramp Up July Crude Exports Amid Saudi Output Cut

The US could boost its crude oil exports next month amid production cuts in Saudi Arabia, analysts told Reuters.

  • Lower Saudi production levels could incentivize higher US and Latin American crude oil shipments to Europe and Asia, Matt Smith, Oil Analyst at Kpler said.
  • US crude oil exports stood at around 4.5mbpd in March.
  • However, this could further deplete US crude inventories, which have been near historic lows at 815mn barrels.
  • Total US crude output is set to rise by 41kbpd this month to 9.33mbpd according to EIA.
