US Gasoline Demand Weakens on Week: GasBuddy

US gasoline demand Nov. 7 was 5.7% below the same day in the previous week, according to GasBuddy’s Patrick De Haan, putting it around 4% below last week’s average.

  • The steady declines in gasoline prices have temporarily paused, De Haan added, due to rises in states such as Ohio, Florida, and Indiana.
  • The current national average stands at $3.39/gal, down 4.5 cents/gal on the previous week’s average and down 28 cents/gal on the October average.
  • Nine US states seeing prices below $3/gal, De Haan said.
