US Natgas Edges Up from Lows Last Week

US Henry Hub is edging higher after falling to the lowest since Sep 2020 last week with production and demand holding steady.

    • US Natgas MAY 23 up 2.3% at 2.15$/mmbtu
  • The latest NOAA two week outlook shows above normal temperatures across most of the US in the 6-14 day period. Domestic demand is today estimated near normal at 72.1bcf/d according to Bloomberg.
  • Total deliveries to US LNG export terminals are today relatively unchanged from yesterday up at 14.1bcf/d with flows to Freeport showing at 2.23bcf/d.
  • US lower 48 dry gas production was yesterday estimated at 100.9bcf/d according to Bloomberg after reaching a high of 101.55bcf/d on 2 April. Production was around 96bcf/d this time last year.
  • Export flows to Mexico are at back to 5.7bcf/d after dipping slightly lower over last weekend.
